The images distributed by NASA showing that today the planet is "greener".
Thanks to a study carried out by NASA, it was confirmed that the Earth is a "greener" place than two decades ago because the vegetation increased in two countries: China and India.
The research was conducted through a satellite sensor that during each day of the last 20 years was collecting images and data from the Earth to determine how their vegetation behaved.
NASA pointed out that, compared to the first years of the century, more than three million square kilometers of green areas are created each year.
