Sahrawi army keeps bombing occupation troops
The bombings continue to cause human and material losses to the Moroccan forces.
The Ministry of Defense of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), reported this Wednesday that the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) continues for the twenty-seventh consecutive day the bombardments against the enemy positions of the Kingdom of Morocco.
According to the war report number 27 of the Saharawi entity on the military conflict, the SPLA has attacked the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces located in the Al-Feiyin regions, Hauza sector, the Grarat Ar-ramaz region, Sector of Farsía, and others.
According to the official source, the uninterrupted clashes in Western Sahara continue to "cause considerable human and material losses to the Moroccan occupation forces along the Wall of Shame."
The belligerence between the parties was unleashed after the Moroccan aggression against Sahrawi protesters in the region of El Guerguerat, on November 13.
For his part, the secretary general of the Polisario Front and president of the SADR, Brahim Ghali, asked the African Union (AU) on Monday to apply sanctions to the Kingdom of Morocco for its occupation of Western Sahara and take a resolute stance to "stop their expansionist practices. "
During the XIV Extraordinary Session of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of the AU, held virtually, Ghali said that the situation is "very critical", and insisted that there has been a war since the Moroccan troops three weeks ago violate the 1991 ceasefire agreement. "Silencing the weapons requires a serious commitment and a firm effort on the part of the continent to restore peace in the region," he said.
