Generally the most important market (by far) that exists in the planet and that affects us all is ignored. I have noticed that it is conveniently left aside, it is almost never mentioned although it determines what happens at the financial level around the world: the Eurodollars.

First clarification; It has nothing to do with the "euro" and has nothing to do with Europe either. 

It is defined as follows:

"Eurodollars are deposits denominated in US dollars that are held in banks outside the United States and therefore are not under the jurisdiction of the Federal Reserve"

For this reason, these deposits are subject to less regulation than similar deposits in the United States, which allows higher profit margins. There is nothing "European" about Eurodollar deposits; A deposit in dollars in Tokyo or in Montevideo will also be considered a deposit in Eurodollars.

There are many more Eurodollars (dollars outside the US) than dollars themselves.

The United States constantly emits dollars to offset its impressive deficit (20 trillion, or $ 20,000,000,000,000, just the federal deficit). And those dollars are compulsively swallowed up by the global Eurodollar market.

So the world finances the US deficit.

The world also finances the global military deployment of the US.

The world also finances the continuing wars declared by the US in many places.

This was heightened by the time of Ronald Reagan who cut corporate taxes and increased military spending by increasing the deficit, and will again happen with Donald Trump (who announced a massive tax cut).

Will we continue to fund the worldwide death of millions and the destruction of countries and cities?
