US elections: Millennials did not go to vote
D.A.
It seems that millennials (people who reached adulthood after the year 2000) did not bother to go to vote.
They believed that HIllary Clinton was the continuation of the domination of corporations, banks and corrupt political elites.
Many jobs have been lost in the US and most young people only get temporary and poorly paid employment. Also many young people are indebted of their college loans that they can not afford to pay back.
In fact, Trump won because Hillary lost. Young people did NOT vote for her, they did not even go to the polls, they remained home (or at work, we must not forget that elections were in a working day)..
The majority of Obama and the Democratic party vanished.
When Hillary, at any price (and I mean it, at any price), won the nomination over Bernie Sanders, who was the candidate for ideological renewal and socialism, and could had easily defeated Trump, not only did she prevent a real change but pushed the US into the abyss.
Hopefully, this experience might allow the US people to learn something. Let's wish that it is not too late.
